  7. I am in dire need of ash trays w/flip lid w/chrome knob.

    Barber chair ash trays used in the older barber chairs are the same as used in the early Vett and some Studebaker auto’s. provide price and quantity available. Most barber shops removed the ash trays when smoking bans were introduced.

PAIDAR barber’s chair. if interested, please contact me at 888509-7001 EXT 105 The White porcelain is in good shape most of the work seems to be the chrome/nickel plating of the metal pieces need to be re-plated and the headrest needs to be somewhat rebuilt.

  12. Hi there im a new barber starting out in this trade. I have a Belmont chair and a Koken classic. The one problem im having with both of them is the locking mechanism?I dont want it to be a liability because i am using them in my trade. Can you help with this delema

  22. I have 2 F&F KoenigKramer Electric Barber Chairs! I was wondering if they need grease or oil added to them routinely as part of maintenance on them to keep the chair going up and down and all the parts moving inside? I was trying to find a model number of them and didn’t know where to look to find the Model number of the chairs? Where are the Model Numbers of the chairs located? Found one on the motor for the motor but not for the chair?

  27. I notice you guys have many kokens on auction. I think i can trump them all. Im wanting to sell my chair. it is all original and unrestored. Not too out of the ordinary right? This might be a first for you. I have a koken congress one lever older than any one ive ever seen. CAD make #13 LOT # 1 Chair #33 the original plate on the back reads says PATENT APPLIED FOR! I have never found one that was Patent applied status and ive looked at hundreds. Please contact me and let me know if im sitting on the holy grail of barber chairs. Oh, I have several pics too!

  31. can you give me a ideal hoe tot take the base off of an emil paider barber chair. its 1920 to 1940 cant seem to figure out hoe to get porcelain base off to get chrome rings off of bottom or top. i have base seat off and what is left is oil holder with chrome ring under it and big porcelain base with bottom chrome ring can you help please? thx pete

  33. I have a old Berninghaus Cincinnati Ohio, ” Hercule’s “.
    Nickle plated needs soom work all white porclien and in great condition arm rest’s, bottom cone, and hand lever for hydratic lift ” Top section. Back rest small tear and the seat, all leather tack bottons are there and the chair has all orginal parts and works, has been in basement and covered over fifty year’s. On the bottom of chair it has a number 126, I have know Idea what this mean’s nor do I know what year, if anyone can email on how I can tell what year I would be greatful. also the chair is for sale.

  35. i have an old Theo Koch chair that came from a shop in Cambridge MA. The barber was a friend and gave it to me in 1970. I was told by him that Pres. Kennedy sat in it when a student at Harvard College. I did him several favors and when he retired gave it to me. Just curious not be able to prove it what could it be worth.   44. I have an Theo A Koch chair that has a round bottom and round back. Appears to be from the 20-30′s, My grandpa was a barber for 50 years and past away ten years go. I have inherited one of them as the others went to a museum. They had the seat that swiveled around the chair. It also had a head rest. I do not have either of these pieces. I would like to try and find them and also learn more about this chair. I have not been able to find any chair online that is like it. Thanks for you help.

  46. I have a Koken Barber Chair is good Condition with the exception of the Long Hinge arms to the foot rest. They are cast and recently broke by my grandchildren’s abuse.
    The part numbers on the two castings are # 505 NR and 505 NL
    There is seemingly and offering on e-bay, but seller claims the # is 5005MSR. Can anyone tell me if these numbers would cross over and be the same parts ???or can you supply same ?
